ORDINANCE NO. 2543

ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GLASGOW, KENTUCKY

THAT, WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed the several supplements to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Glasgow, Kentucky, for the year 2005 and said supplements contain all ordinances and the general nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of this municipality; and

WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make referenced to sections of the Kentucky Revised Statute;

WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes in law of the Commonwealth of Kentucky;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City of Glasgow, Kentucky as follows:

SECTION ONE. That the 2005 year-to-date supplements, S-1 through S-6, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and as attached hereto, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as is specifically set out in its entirety.

SECTION TWO. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be enforced from and after its date of passage, approval and publication as required by law.
