§ 38.05. SURPLUS PROPERTY.

(A) All department heads shall immediately generate a list of property that each department head deems surplus and no longer needed in the department’s operation. Pursuant to KRS 82.083, each list must fully describe the property, its intended use at the time of acquisition and the reasons why it is in the public interest to dispose of it.
(B) All department heads shall provide the Mayor with his or her respective surplus property lists, at which time the Mayor shall be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to expose the surplus property for sale by any method authorized by KRS 82.083 that he or she deems appropriate.
